Last week the union board held our annual christma Last week the union board held our annual christmas dinner. A night for the union board, the coming union board and our honorary members. 🎄 It was an evening filled with good food, beautiful speeches, laughs and wonderful singing done by the Alnarp choir on the steps of the castle. 🌟 With only about a week left of our mandate period we really enjoyed this evening to get together and remember this year! 🌿
So a while ago the Union board decided that enough So a while ago the Union board decided that enough was enough and that Expen really needed a deep clean. 🫡 So we put on our cleaning gloves our hazmat suits and a bucket and a mop in each hand. 🪣🧹🧼🧽 Now we can proudly present a clean Expen for our members during our last weeks as Union board and make sure that the coming board in 2025 gets a really nice, clean start! 🥳 This weekend we also made sure to decorate in true christmas spirit with the winning gingerbread house on a special pedestal! 🎅🏻 Come by Expen to say hi between 12:15-12:45 Monday-Thursday 🌿

🎄❄🥳Get ready for the 2024 Gingerbread hous 🎄❄🥳Get ready for the 2024 Gingerbread house competition!!🎄❄🥳 The rules for entering (and winning): - Create a team with a maximum of 4 people - Register your team via instagram DM, Facebook messenger or info_ask@stud.slu.se Include number of people and your name! - Create a house or any sort of thing built in gingerbread and remember that you can ONLY use edible things (no hot glue or cardboard) - Make the house in your own time but.... - Come to the December Union Gathering (4/12) where you will get 1 hour to finish your creations - Winning team is decided at the December Union Gathering (4/12) and every team member gets a giftcard at ICA! So gather you friends and let the creativity flow and we will see you on the 4th! ❤

In the beginning of October, our vice chairperson In the beginning of October, our vice chairperson Edvina 'Vitae' and standard bearer Cornelia 'Cervula' got invited to represent ASK at SLU:s doctoral award ceremony 2024 in Uppsala, one of the university’s finest and most significant celebrations.🌟 At the ceremony, new doctors and honorary doctors receive the signs of their doctoral dignity. 🎩 We want to thank SLU for this amazing weekend and wish big congratulations to all the new doctors! 🌿
Last week SLU was representad at @elmialantbruk by Last week SLU was representad at @elmialantbruk by some of the union board and other members of ASK! 🚜 The Elmia agriculture fair is a big happening in the swedish agricultural sector but can also be very informatory for many of the programmes and courses at Alnarp. This year our members got to both travel there, get entrance at a reduced price and free lunch, all thanks to Elmia! 🥳 We are so grateful to give this opportunity for our members to grow and experience the Elmia fair! 🌿
What a day we had! This Wednesday we had our Octo What a day we had! This Wednesday we had our October union meeting. A lot of people showed up and took posts in the union, for instance almost the whole union board of 2025! 🥳 After the meeting we headed toward the sortiment to uncover a tree for our former inspector, Åsa 'Vinifiera' Bensch! We are so grateful that we could give her such a beautiful Acer palmatum "Osakazuki" from @tonnersjoplantskola to grow together with the union and in memory of Åsas time as inspector.🌳 After that we headed toward the Union house for a gathering. @lingradet_alnarp had made a nice pea soup free for everyone and there were games and @hantverksutskottet_slu arranged an epic conkers tournament for those interested. 🌰 The evening ended with the presentation of the union baptisms and new names were given to four of our active members from our current inspector Cristopher Klich together with @tradu_ask ! 👻 We are so happy with the day and that so many showed up! See you around! 🌿
On the 11th of October the student union hosts a m On the 11th of October the student union hosts a mental health day to raise awareness on mental illness and the importance of taking care of yourself.❤ There will be various activities. Everything is free and you do NOT have to be a union member to participate. Mental wellbeing is for everyone after all. We look forward to seeing you on Friday🌿

Den 9e oktober kommer Johan Folkesson, chefsarkite Den 9e oktober kommer Johan Folkesson, chefsarkitekt på Trafikverket, till Campus Alnarp för att ta emot sitt pris som Årets SLU-alumn 2024 och delta i ett samtal med Emilia Pramler och Gustav Stemme från LARK-rådet. Samtalet kommer att kresta kring Landskapsarkitekturens bidrag till nästa steg för hållbarhet. Programmet börjar med mingellunch i foajén följt av en prisutdelning och samtal i Aulan. Fokusrådet är en årlig konferens där SLU's 7 studentkårer samlas i Skinnskatteberg för att diskutera gemensamma frågor, dra lärdom och inspirera varandra. Årets tema är "Inspirera & Rekrytera" och helgen kommer bestå av föreläsningar, workshops, pub, jaktsittning och många tillfällen att nätverka utanför din kår! Mat och boende betalas av SLUSS och resan dit anordnas av ASK. För att få följa med till Skinnskatteberg behöver du vara en aktiv kårmedlem i ASK eller planera att bli det, alltså ta en post. Eftersom platserna är begränsade vill vi även höra en motivering om varför just DU ska följa med.
